Method
- In a saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, and 1 cup water. Cook until berries soften and sugar dissolves.
- Strain mixture to make strawberry syrup. Let cool.
- Boil remaining 5 cups water, steep tea bags for 5–7 minutes. Remove bags.
- In a pitcher, combine tea and strawberry syrup. Stir in lemon juice if using.
- Chill for at least 1 hour. Serve over ice with garnish.
Notes
- Use frozen strawberries if fresh aren’t available.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- Freeze leftovers into ice cubes for later use.
