Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg beef chuck roast
  • 3 potatoes
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Sear seasoned beef in oil.
  2. Cook onions and garlic.
  3. Add tomato paste, broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Add herbs and return beef.
  5. Add vegetables and pressure cook for 60 minutes.
  6. Natural release pressure and serve.

Notes

  • Use large vegetable chunks
  • Simmer liquid for thicker gravy
