Preheat & Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.
Cream Butter & Sugars: In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in chocolate chips, reserving a small handful for the top.
Spread & Bake: Spread dough evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top. Bake for 22–28 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
Cool & Slice: Let bars cool fully in the pan. Lift out using parchment and slice into squares or rectangles.
